Municipal Election 2026

Municipal Elections and Term of Office

On Wednesday, November 4, 2026, municipal By-election (2 year term) for Reeve will take place.  Nomination forms can be submitted to the R.M. office from September 15, 2026 to September 30, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.

On Monday, November 9, 2026, municipal elections will be held for councillors representing even-numbered divisions (2, 4, and 6).  Nominations for council members of the even-numbered divisions can be submitted to the R.M. office from September 15, 2026 to October 7, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.

Councils are elected for four-year terms starting with the first meeting following the election. When required to hold a By-election, the elected member holds office for the remainder of the unexpired term of the person who they replaced.
